Springtime fields

Smell the spring's moist sweetness.

Feel its softness, rich and subtle.

Newness springing from the earth

Draws us closer in our loving.

Feel the rich and golden sunshine

Spread its tender warm caresses

From a deep and azure sky

As we lie warm and lazy in the sun.

Come my love and share the springtime fields with me

Lying warm and lazy in the sun..

Hear the wind's soft whisper

And its silent, secret laughter.

Laughter sifting through the grass

Draws us closer in our loving.

Touch the magic of the springtime

See the weaving of the colours

and the dancing of the light

As we lie warm and lazy in the sun.

Come my love and share the springtime fields with me

Lying warm and lazy in the sun...
