(1) Peter was a tailor and lived and carried on a business in North St, between Currie and Waymouth Sts, Adelaide. The house no longer stands. Peter and Elizabeth are Neil's great-great-grandparents.

*(2) with the exception of Elizabeth Collins Green, who was born in Penryn, all children were born in Adelaide. The date shown for Elizabeth's birth is actually her baptismal date.

(3) Penryn is an ancient town and port, 3 km from Falmouth. Its main industry is the granite quarry which has provided stones for such buildings as Scotland Yard and the Old Bailey, a gentle irony as, in earlier times it was know for the amount of illegal smuggling that went through its harbour.

Charles Scott and Ellen Green are Neil's great-grandparents. To view their descendants go to Charles Sidney Scott
