[1] This genealogy is as complete as I can make it at this time and only reaches back to the immigrants to Australia from England in the 1800s.

[2]Peter was a tailor and lived and carried on a business in North St, between Currie and Waymouth Sts, Adelaide. The house no longer stands.

[3] Penryn is an ancient town and port, 3 km from Falmouth, whose main industry is the granite quarry which has provided stones for such buildings as Scotland Yard and the Old Bailey, a gentle irony as, in earlier times it was know for the illegal smuggling that went through its harbour.

[4] with the exception of Elizabeth Collins Green, who was born in Penryn, all children were born in Adelaide

[5] George Scott's occupation was recorded as 'agricultural labourer'.

[7] The fact that there are two 'Lilly May's born a year apart (the first dying in infancy) suggests that the first-born died and the second-born is Olive's mother.
