The Weaver: delights in colour and texture and laces the weft of experience into the warp of the given. Patterns emerge as beauty is given away for warmth and pleasure.
The Gardener: planting with anticipation and enlivening the soil, is surprised every season by the profligate beauty of bud, branch and blossom innocent of reason.
The Teacher: drawing out ideas of imaginary futures, weaving word and image into the dew-fresh wonder of knowing. Sixty years of weft-weave celebrate patterns of firmly threaded purpose knobbed by serendipity.
Futures still to weave may yet surprise us with unanticipated beauties in unexpected Springs.
